Toubabau speaks of the enslavement of countless people from West Africa. Many Thousands were transported to far off lands, stripped of their rights & made to work for no money. For those people made remained, their countries were colonised and the people made to adapt to white mans culture, attitudes & systems. Toubabau suggests that the past is the past and with respect & forgiveness the opportunity to live harmoniously together is here & now.
"My Grandparents worked hard to make it peaceful between the black & white people. Because of this we now have a peaceful & successful country where all people black & white work well together to move the country forward. Don't be scared of this unity, Because it has brought peace" Jali Buba Kuyateh
